Love is...LLC went beyond our family expectations for care. From day one, the first meeting to go over needs, our hopes that "beyond routine care activities" could be included were met. One of these requests was to enable our mother to go onto her porch and putter with her plants, as she had done for 60 years. Caregivers not only wheeled her to the porch but were actively engaged and happy in providing her that chance to enjoy the sun, the rain, and to dig in the dirt. Another example is when we asked the caregivers to cook some favorite items, and they actively engaged my mother with her own cookbooks, on the recipe to use, etc. This is the true meaning of person-centered care.
