Frequently Asked Questions
Why should I choose Love is instead of hiring a caregiver directly?
There are many reasons to choose Love is caregivers:
What if my caregiver is sick or goes on vacation?
It is important to us that our caregivers and clients bond and form a relationship. We also see the value in having a “team” of caregivers for each client so that in the event a caregiver is sick or on vacation we are able to send another team member who is familiar and welcome in your home.
How does the cost of in-home care compare to assisted-living or nursing homes?
Generally, in home care will cost less than assisted-living or nursing homes. Rather than paying for a lot of services that you do not want or need, we are able to create a schedule that is personalized—you are choosing exactly what services you want and when you need them.
How do you select caregivers?
All Love is caregivers undergo a vigorous screening process that includes interviews, background (criminal and elder abuse registry), motor vehicle, and reference checks. More importantly our caregivers share our vision for home care, have a heart for service, and a desire to bring compassionate care to your home.
Who needs in-home care?
Love is provides in-home care for anyone needing help with daily living. Love is caregivers are available 24/7 to assist new mothers, the elderly, and people of all ages recuperating from a surgery or illness. Often the assistance of Love is will allow a client to remain in their own home rather than be institutionalized or live with relatives.
How much does the service cost?
Our services are provided and billed on an hourly basis. A free, in-home consultation will give us the opportunity to collaboratively discuss and determine the type and amount of care needed. Please contact us to learn more about pricing.
