For Valentines Day this year we decided to share a little love with our senior neighbors with a “Boxes of Love”. The boxes were filled with items such as easy to make soup or baked good mixes, stationary, stamps, grocery gift cards, non-slip slipper socks, lip balm, lotion, bath gel, gloves, scarves, hats, large print word puzzle books, and other items. Love is made several boxes and wonderful folks in the community created boxes as will. The boxes were taken to the homes of local seniors who might not otherwise be remembered on Valentine’s Day…always a blessing to share love with your neighbors!
